Share your availability without sharing your calendar

The back-and-forth is the worst part of arranging anything. “Does Tuesday work?” “Tuesday is bad, Wednesday after three?” “I have something at four.” Six messages to book thirty minutes.

A booking link ends that. You send one address, they pick a slot, it is done.

What they can see, and what they cannot

They see free slots. Nothing else. Not what is in the gaps, not who you are meeting, not a single task title.

That matters because the slots are checked against your whole day, not just against other bookings. A dentist appointment you scheduled by hand blocks the hour exactly like a booked one does. The visitor learns that 2pm is taken. They do not learn why.

They find out when you are free. Not what you are busy with.

Not everyone wants to be findable

A short link is easy to say out loud, which also means it is easy to guess. If your page is at your own name, anyone who can spell it can see the shape of your week.

For plenty of people that is fine. For plenty of others it is not, so there is a choice on the settings page:

• Anyone with the link — a short, memorable address.
• Only people I send it to — the same address with an unguessable tail on the end. The bare name stops working entirely.

You can replace that tail whenever you like. The old link stops resolving the moment you do, which is how you take access back from someone without a conversation about it.

It is off until you turn it on

A new page is not live. Until you switch it on, the address shows nothing at all — and not a “this page is disabled” notice either, which would confirm you exist. It is the same nothing as an address that was never claimed.

What happens when someone books

• They get an email confirming it, with a link to cancel.
• You get an email saying who, when, and anything they wrote.
• The slot lands on your own day as a task, so the rest of the app knows that hour is gone and your capacity figure includes it.
• Either of you can cancel, and the slot goes back on offer for someone else.

Setting it up

Pick a link, set the hours you are open on each weekday, choose how long a booking lasts and whether you want a gap after each one. Cap the day if you do not want six of them. Then turn it on.

It is part of the free plan. There is no per-seat price, because there are no seats.
