What a booking link should cost in India

Scheduling tools are priced in dollars per person per month. Here is what that works out to in rupees, and what we charge instead.

A booking link is a small feature. You pick the hours you are free, someone else picks a slot, it lands in both diaries. That is the whole of it.

It is priced like infrastructure because the tools that do it were built for companies that buy software per seat, in dollars, and never convert.

The conversion nobody does out loud

$12 / monthabout ₹12,700 a year
$10 / monthabout ₹10,600 a year
$8 / monthabout ₹8,400 a year

A single person paying for a scheduling link, for one year. Dollar figures converted at roughly ₹88.

Ten thousand rupees a year, so people can pick a half-hour with you. For a consultant billing in dollars that is nothing. For most people reading this it is a real number.

A feature this small should not cost more than the rest of the app put together.

What we charge

Nothing. The booking page is part of the free plan, along with the planner, the hours report, categories, repeats and browser reminders.

We charge for two things, both of which cost us money every day because they run on other people’s services:

  • ₹120 a year to push your plan into Google Calendar or Outlook.
  • ₹240 a year to send reminders and a morning agenda by email.

Both include GST. That is the price you pay, not the price before something is added at checkout.

What you get for nothing

  • A link of your own, on hours you choose per weekday.
  • Slots that are genuinely free, checked against everything already on your day, not just against other bookings.
  • A gap after each booking, and a daily cap, if you want them.
  • An unlisted link, so only the people you send it to can see when you are free.
  • Bookings that land on your own day as a task, so the rest of the app knows that hour is gone.

Why free, honestly

Not as a trial. There is no countdown and no card. The booking page costs us almost nothing to run, so charging for it would be charging because we could.

The planner is ₹0. Not “₹0 for now”.

Make room for what matters

Plan tomorrow in five minutes. Finish it by evening.

The first day you plan is free. So is every one after it.
